Airlie Beach + Whitsundays
We've been staying just a few nights in each place and this time we wanted to stay a bit longer just so we could find some sort of routine to our lives. We also wanted to be very flexible regarding the tours we wanted to do around Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays.

The holiday park itself was really good and clean and the staff was really helpful and friendly every time we dealt with them. There were several activities happening while we were there even though it wasn't school holidays. There was live music a few nights, movie night, roasted pork, sausage and plenty of space for the kids to run around.
The location again wasn't the best one, it was a bit far from town and the beach, so we couldn't simply go for a walk and find something nice around, we had to drive. One day though I went from ride with Lucas, which was great, but pretty hilly to get to town. The other thing was it's just next to a small airport, so we can hear the planes and helicopters landing and taking off the whole day, although it didn't bother us, in fact, we went to the cafe in the airport a few times to watch the planes and helicopters a few times.
This time we found several kids in the camping site, which kept our kids really busy. We met a family in a situation pretty similar to ours which was nice and their kids played really nicely with ours which was amazing.
Coming to tours, we did an awesome tour to the Whitehaven Beach and Daydream Island, a bit pricy, we paid $475 for the whole family to go in a boat cruise with Cruise Whitsundays. Whitehaven is really picturesque, but with small kids, I gotta say it wasn't the best one to be, on the other hand Daydream Island was amazing, a place where the kids would never get bored.
Slowly, we're getting used to our new setup, finding places to everything and working on some sort of routine.
Our next stop is Townsville
