Townsville was to settle down a little bit, we had to look into a few things around the car and van and handle some red tape. We stayed a little longer than we anticipated, but well worth it at the end of the day with the things we accomplished in order to keep the ball rolling in the car running.

We stayed really close to the beach and we were able to go for several walks and bike rides just to relax a little. Townsville was also where we left our caravan before going to the Magnetic Island.
One thing that we did that was well worth it was the Billabong Sanctuary. The close encounter with the animals were amazing. We put together a video just about the zoo itself. Check it out.
